1) Less than a week from now, I'll be back home in Tacoma for 10 days of vacation. By vacation, I mean snapping hundreds of photos of the University Place area (as research for the revision of my much-reviled - for good reason, it was crap! - YA novel Rendered Briefly Dark), working on rewrites for two old stories ("Her Deepness" and "Girls of the World"), getting much info from the Tacoma Historical Society so that I can start my Tacoma steampunk novella trilogy (which is looking more and more like three short novels, but that's another post...), and meeting up with cmpriest. Fuck it, I'm just going home to meet Cherie. :P And to eat some REAL SEAFOOD.

2) I'm almost finished with the first erotica novella in the planned trilogy - I'm will not be working on it while staying at home in my parent's house because: gah. The title is "All for the Love of Tesla". Those of you who've read the novella in the "Short & Sweet" anthology (that would be one of you, then, right?) will realize that the title refers to the young female protagonist named Tesla, not Nikola. Although, there are Tesla coils prominently featured in this novella. Ghosts and rainstorms and sorrow are also featured. There may be a bit of TEH SEX in it as well....

3) I had something else, but I can't remember it. I'm very tired. Lots of work to do, lots of things to write. I'd like a real vacation, just once....
