stuff and stuff

My prose-poemy flash fiction piece “Catala” has been accepted to Jenny Magazine. It should be up by the end of April.

I’ll have a short (as in fifty words or less – yes, that’s the limit!) interview up in mid-April. Not sure if I can say what site it’ll be at, so I’ll just keep mum for now. I’ll link to it when it’s online.

Training for June’s Incredibly Slow Race for Blubberous Office Workers continues. I’m walking a bit faster than I did three weeks ago, and I weigh a bit less, which my heart thanks me profusely for. So, things are good.

Yes, this is a lame and rather boring post, but I need to cut down on internet time this week and focus on the novella, the novel, and a few other things. Miles to go, bitches.

Marine Autumn

I owe you marine autumn
With dankness at its roots
and fog like a grape
and the graceful sun of the country;
and the silent space
in which sorrows lose themselves
and only the bright crown
of joy comes to the surface.

--Pablo Neruda.
